Session: Understanding  jQuery

Jen is a co-founder, developer, and designer for www.8byte8.com, a Las Vegas startup aimed at making fun and simple web and mobile apps. She has nearly 10 years of experience in the field and loves helping others learn and discover the joy of making beautiful and functional websites.

Prior to 8byte8, Jen worked as a senior front-end developer for Zappos.com, focusing primarily on the product page. She also worked at Burns Marketing Communications where she had the opportunity to work with clients like HP and nVIDIA. Jen loves participating in and competing at hack-a-thons across the country and attending local tech events. She has a B.S. in Computer Science with a minor in Math from Colorado State University.
